Newcastle Wall Cap

Natural stone wall capping is a unique masonry item designed to provide a protective top surface for any type of wall-like structure. Wall capping is typically installed to overhang the wall slightly to provide a drip edge for water to flow off the top surface. This prevents moisture from permeating into and potentially damaging the wall structure itself. Wall caps, such as our Newcastle sandstone cap, can also provide an attractive finishing accent for indoor or outdoor walls. Our Newcastle Wall Cap has a cut top, bottom and flamed sides (flaming is a masonry process that super-heats a cut stone face to produce a natural textured look). Our wall capping is available in widths up to 24″, with each piece a minimum of 2″ thick, and flamed on all four sides.
