Ocean Pearl Flamed Top Post Cap

K2 Stone’s Solid Stone Post Caps are designed to provide a protective top surface for any type of stone post. They’re made from a solid piece of stone and typically overhang the post slightly to provide a drip edge for water to flow off, preventing it from permeating into the post structure and compromising its integrity. Post Caps are available in a range of profiles for mixing and matching with stone veneer products such as our Ocean Pearl series. Ocean Pearl slate has a unique geology that can only be found on Vancouver Island. Its colour palette of blues and greys, with occasional white quartz veins, is versatile, a good match for other building materials such as concrete, steel and wood. Ocean Pearl Flamed Top Post Caps are made from solid slate with a flamed top, cut bottom and flamed sides. Flaming is a process that super-heats a cut stone face to produce a natural textured look. These attractive finishing post caps are available in any size combination up to 24″ x 24″ and are a minimum of 2″ thick.
